We love good music and spare no opportunity of listening and reviewing any latest release. And the most recent one we came across is “The Fire” an album by Kendra Black. Kendra Black is exceptionally talented and naturally gifted music artist. Before moving on to the album let’s have an insight of her career till date.
Kendra is a singer, songwriter, and producer from New York City. Originally from a professional ballet background, Kendra was the youngest in her class when she graduated from the Kirov Academy of Ballet at the age 17. Upon graduating she shifted her focus on music and performed in the U.S., France, Monte-Carlo, Italy, Egypt, and the Caribbean.
She trained with teachers from the Music Conservatory of Cannes in France and from The Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Upon relocating to NY, Black perfected her vocal training in NYC with Justin Stoney, director of New York Vocal Coaching, A&R Meghan Cress at Voice Academy NYC, and Ilana Martin from Vocal Workouts singing school.
Now coming back to the album it self. It’s an 10 tracks album. Even though all the 10 tracks are beautifully done but the one that impressed me so much is “ This Love”. The song starts with a melodious and engaging tone. You will feel compelled to listen to the track. One thing you will feel not only in this track but throughout the album is the variation of the sound.
The track is simply done and not overly complex. The chorus is impressive, the pitch range varies, making it rich and engaging. I am impressed with the lyrics in particular. Overall the Album definitely is professional and creative. We find it extremely good and Kendra definitelyy proved the amount of talent she has. The music, lyrics and production everything has been done exceptionally well throughout this album. I would say listening to the music was a real entertainment and I am sure you would love it as well.
