An Exclusive Interview With Jared Wesley

 Upon first glance the rapper known as Jared Wesley, gives off the appearance of your normal everyday citizen but don’t let the look fool you he still has a talent for making music and plans to be a pioneer in the music industry by mainly focusing on being creative in Hip-Hop. Jared Wesley’s unique sound comes from the fact for most of his childhood he listened to R&B / Soul, Alternative, and Pop music, in addition he wasn’t introduced to Hip-Hop until his early teen years and he first started making Hip-Hop music as a producer / engineer. Due to this exposure to different kinds of music, his ear for music as a producer / engineer and the fact he has never written a line it makes for a unique and unforgettable listening experience anytime you listen to a Jared Wesley record. His overall goal is to open the minds of individuals and make people more aware of the artistic element behind making Hip-Hop music.

Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?

Ans: It’s definitely more exciting because its not stressful at all I’m just having fun

Q:  How do you shut things out?

Ans: By ironically staying off the internet and staying away from too much human interaction

Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?

Ans : Very easily from the time a hear a beat I know if I can make it into a good song or not

Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

Ans: Be multidimensional and as creative as possible

Ans: Life music for the soul

Q: You write all of your own music; where do you draw inspiration from when you write songs and what’s your favorite part about the process?

ANS: Yes I write all of my own music and I draw inspiration from life experiences all of my music is storytelling / life music

Q: At what age did you start singing?

ANS: around 14 or 15 but I started recording around 22

Q:Who are your inspirations?

Ans: Jay-Z & Andre 3000

Q: If you could perform with anyone, in the future, who would it have to be?

Ans: Any Atlanta artist
