We recently got an opportunity to have an interview with him.
Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Oliver Laughton: My father, as he was in a successful band in the 60’s. However, what really made want to get into the industry was watching Nirvana live!
One of your most popular songs “Shooting Stars ” proved to be a hit. You must be very excited with the kind of response it has received?
Oliver Laughton : Yes, it popularity has astounded me, although I knew it was catchy as Amy (Winehouse) once said that she thought it was.. ‘A Winner! ‘
Tell us about your recent releases?
Oliver Laughton: It’s top secret 🙂 All I can say is…I’m trying out new styles in my forthcoming songs, inspired by the likes of Bowie, Drake, Bob Marley, Tupac and Biggy.
You have performed alongside many renowned artists. Are there any artists you would loved to perform with ?
Oliver Laughton: Yes. Adele.
What do you enjoy more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Oliver Laughton: As Robbie Williams says ‘its all about the live show’!
You have performed at so many venues. What’s your most memorable performance so far?
Oliver Laughton: Burning Man
Have you set some goals to achieve as a music artist?
Oliver Laughton: Now I’m a Father my priorities have changed.
