Herléo Muntu gets set to storm the stage again in Toronto

Herléo Muntu can be best described as a revolutionary force which hit the Canadian music scene like a storm.  Herléo Muntu was born in DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo), and bred in Canadian soil. While growing up, his dual cultural identity exposed him to different genres of music, both of Canadian and of Congolese decent, and as a talented musician, he mashed up the two cultures, and came up with his own unique blend of music.

His unique style of music blends together North American urban music, contemporary pop, plus African and Latin American sound. His beautiful music has endeared him to millions of fans in Canada, Africa and all over the world, and he has lots of awards and recognitions to show for it.

The crooner has four studio albums to his credits, which have sold thousands of copies all over the world. He has lightened up the stage in several hundreds of shows in Africa, Canada, Europe and many other parts of the world where he has travelled to.

Some of his most notable songs include:

Le lion des bantous, Racisme International, Le vie est une danse, Munanga, Together, Valeur d’Or, among many others.

Herléo has worked with many notable artistes in the industry, such as Sans Pression, Bisso Na Bisso, François Gegoire, Magic System, etc.

In 2011, Herléo Muntu received the COCAN Award for the Best Album category; he was nominated for Best Male Artiste during the African Entertainment Awards of Toronto, where he was a finalist. Herléo, also in 2014, won the Best Album of African Diaspora in Ontario, and once again, in 2015, he was nominated in the Most Successful Franco-Ontario Artist or Group category at the Trille Awards.

Herleo is not stopping his revolution in the music industry anytime soon; right now, all plans have been concluded for him to hit the stage again on 11th November 2017, from 8PM, at Electric Lounge, 2 Steinway Blv. Toronto, Canada.  He will be accompanied on stage by 4 musicians and 2 dancers. He will also share the stage with Dre-D, Van Hoan Le and Romengo whom he has invited for the occasion.

It is going to be an electrifying moment with the king of Canada’s afropop himself, so don’t miss this show for anything in the world!
