SNT Mag: First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
Bez: I started in the music scene in 2009 while in college in NYC, interning at Def Jam Records nothing major, just a summer gig. Getting donuts assistant to the assistant.
SNT Mag: Who or what inspired you to get into this industry?
Bez: I love music. What really inspired me is watching black execs such as Suge Knight, Irv Gotti, Diddy, move around like bosses, and have fun with it.
SNT Mag: When did you join Universal Music Group. Tell us about your experience at UMG?
Bez: I joined in 2009 interning with them off and on since. I love their distribution platforms.
SNT Mag: What kind of response have you received from your company Eleven33 Group?
Bez: I’ve gotten great feedback, so far from my company Eleven33 Group, my business partner “Push”. I’m result driven, so our clients love to see the RESULTS.
SNT Mag: So you have worked with a number of artists and bands. It must be fun working with the top talent?
Bez: Working with artists is extremely fun especially watching how each individual creates in the studio from the independent all the way to the mega stars.
SNT Mag: Tell us about some of the upcoming projects you are working on?
Bez: Lindita is one of my personal artists I work with. She has a voice like Mariah Carey, another artist is “Luxury” he is very versatile, and is a great singer, actor, and rapper.
SNT Mag: What attracts you more, music creation of promotion?
Bez: All men, hey both have a different high for me to be honest, to watch it being created is awesome. To watch the marketing, radio blogs etc and it’s actually moving is another high.
SNT Mag: What’s the best part of being a music marketer?
Bez: The best part for me is growing something from the ground up, and being a part of the whole process; from it being made in studio, to shooting the music video, and putting it on radio hitting the charts. The whole process makes it fun for me!
