An Exclusive Interview With Famous Songwriter and Composer Rizo Balic

Rizo Balic is talented Songwriter and Composer. I write lyrics and compose music for both female and male artists in all tempos in Pop, Rock, R&B, and Dance.He have a collection of 81 professionally recorded songs (54 for Female and 27 for Male Artists). He also compose the music for the movies. Two of his songs: BROKEN DREAMS and ALONE are featured as part of the movie: Unfit Misfit, by 3 Angels Power Inc. a movie company from Canada. The last year a spin off movie: Summer Rewind and they have featured my songs in the movie as follows: Summer Rewind (theme song); EMOTIONS, IT IS TIME; THE STRONGEST ALWAYS SURVIVE; THE MIDNIGHT HOUR; MOONLIGHT ROMANCE (Instrumental); I’VE TO GO (Instrumental). For the movie Summer Rewind, also, I have composed the background music for the movie. Wrote theme songs for movies, Summer Reminds, and Chi Ann Blaze Of Fur.

Q : When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?

Ans: More exciting, I always looking very much forward to start working on new compostion.

Q : How easily do songs tend to come to you?

Ans : Most of the time, it is natural talent, I think I am born with it.

Q : What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

Ans: Never give up, stay positive and carry on.

Q : For our readers who have never heard your music, explain your sound in 5 words?

Ans: Powerful, meaningful, emotional, realistic, everlasting.

Q . You write all of your own music; where do you draw inspiration from when you write songs and what’s your favorite part about the proccess?

ANS: I like to write about different subjects either in the past or current. My life experience it is always a starting point. If the subject is related to my own experience, the song it will be powerful and emotional. I feel I am good story teller and I my biggest challenge when I write the lyrics for the song; it is to narrow it down. Q : Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?

Ans: ABBA, Beatles, Elton John, Madonna, Celine Dion, Britney Spears. Majority o f my song’s lyrics, when I wrote them, I imagined are sang by those artist.

Ans: Yugoslavian Rock bands: White Button, Early Frost, Silver Wings, ABBA, Beatles, Elton John, Madonna, Celine Dion, Britney Spears

Q : What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?

Ans: All of us who perform live on stage in some stage have been there. Take a deep breath , look up at the audience and relax.
