Q1: For our readers who have never heard your music, explain your sound in 5 words?
Ans: Exciting, Energetic, Emotional, Engaging, Eclectic
Q2: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
Ans: Become better. Make friends. Believe in yourself, stay positive.
Q3: You write all of your own music; where do you draw inspiration from when you write songs and what’s your favorite part about the proccess?
ANS: I listen to so many styles of music. Sometimes the melody from a song might inspire me and I try it in another genre. Or maybe its the instruments they used and try to incorporate that to my style.
Q4: Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which ones?
Ans: I love old soul music, stuff with emotion, lyrics and natural talent. A lot of music nowadays is overly processed and its easy for anyone to make or fake. Years ago talent was a requirement.
Q5: Do you perform in public? Describe those occasions? Concerts, radio, TV?
Ans: Playing festivals is the most fun, you get a lot of engagement with the fans.
Q6: Do you get nervous before a performance?
Ans: If it is a big performance usually yes.
Q7: What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
Ans: Be well prepared and you won’t have anything to worry about. If you feel overcome by nerves then realise that nervousness is just trapped energy. Move your body around, jump and shake the nerves out.
Q8: How often and for how long do you practice?
Ans: Everyday at least one hour. Finding new music, trying mixes and making edits and mash ups.
Q9:Do you have any events coming up or recording going on right now?
Ans: I have a festival in Myanmar coming up this weekend. A tour of Taiwan next month. Then also Indonesia and Singapore. Other than that you can catch me at my Bangkok residencies at Route 66 Club and Insanity Club.
Q10:Do you have any advice for anyone?
Ans : Learn and improve everyday. Study what others do, stay unto date. Work on your brand, don’t take any bad treatment and hustle hard.
Thanks for taking time out of your day:)
