Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?
Ans: I think it’s a little bit of both. I’m a bit stressed and nervous about whether or not what I create next will be good enough in my eyes or if others will accept it, but excited to see all the new things my brain will create.
Q: How do you shut things out?
Ans: If I need to focus on something, I literally have to go to my thinking spot, whether that be a specific corner of a room, or a bench outside, or just any place that I’m away from others and I can be able to really get lost in my mind and pick apart my brain.
Q: How easily do songs tend to come to you?
Ans: Sometimes it’s easy, and sometimes it’s difficult. Songs come the easiest to me though when I’m in an emotional state, because I can kind of write about it as it’s happening.
Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
Ans: You can have all the knowledge in the world, but if you don’t have the courage to act on it, it will have been for nothing.
Q: What is your favorite song to belt out at the bar/in the car?
ANs: Ooooh this is a difficult one. Probably Crawling or Numb by Linkin Park.
Q: You write all of your own music; where do you draw inspiration from when you write songs and what’s your favorite part about the proccess?
ANS: I draw inspiration from everything really.. from past experiences, current situations, the people around me, messages that I want to get across to people, and much more. Whatever reaches my heart and mind are usually things that I will write about. My favorite part of the process is finally seeing my thoughts on paper in a way that truly expresses me.
Q: If you could perform with anyone, in the future, who would it have to be?
Ans: Hayley Williams, Twenty One Pilots, and San Holo, and DROELOE.
Q:Do you have any events coming up or recording going on right now?
Ans: I may be working on a second album. <3
Q:Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to sing as a career or just advice about careers in general?
Ans : Do something you love doing and do it for the right reasons. If you do something purely for the money or notoriety, it won’t end well.
