Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?
When I decide to make a new record, it’s more exciting because my ideas pop out randomly or with day to day experiences. For example, talking with someone can ignite an idea. Its more of a natural thing.
Q: What’s your motto or the advice you live by?
I like this quote: “your life is temporary, so what makes you think your problems are forever?”
Q. Do you have any events coming up or recording going on right now?
Currently, we are working on a music video for “Somos differente,” which includes a special featuring with @katabreu3. It is a reggeaton/love song mixed with a little trap.
Q. Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to sing as a career or just advice about careers in general?
My advice is to always try to be truthful to yourself. You will have a lot of yes’ and a lot of no’s. But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter, just give love to your creations.
Q. How do you handle mistakes during a performance?
There’s always going to be mistakes, believe or not. But, one second shouldn’t reflect the whole show. My advice is to keep on going. That mistake will be overlooked or will be praised because it would connect with your audience.
Q. What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
It’s okay to be nervous but always remember that there’s always going to be someone that’s going to be your fan. There’s always music for different people.
Q. How do you balance your music with other obligations – mate, children, job?
Honestly, I’m still trying to figure that out. There’s no blueprint or shortcut to it. But I use any little gap in the day like when I’m driving, walking, etc.
Q. Do you perform in public? Describe those occasions? Concerts, radio, TV?
I’ve really only been serious about my music for a short time and it hasn’t been easy with the pandemic. I have a few good things going on right now, Ill be going to pop up events around NYC. It’s a great learning experience every time I go to an event. I feel like I’m growing my career.
Q. For our readers who have never heard your music, explain your sound in 5 words?
Uplifting, surprising, unique, fusion, worldwide
Q. At what age did you start singing?
I started singing jokingly at age 13 but I took it more serious in 2021.
