STONE MOB is a hard rock band formed in Virginia in 2017. The members are singer Doug ” Earthdog” Masteron, guitarist Blaine “Shred Master General” Kaltman, bassist Wil “Mr. Creative” David and drummer Andy Hamburger. Their latest video is “Guaranteed (Betty)”- a hilarious misadventure involving a body spray that makes anyone who uses it irresistible to women. The song is catchy and fun but it’s the amazing guitar playing that really drives it. Blaine Kaltman, who has been featured in Guitar World Magazine, plays ridiculously hard guitar leads that are a mix of dazzling speed and innovative technique that are going to redefine the meaning of the word “shredder.” Even underwater his fingers line up in perfect time demonstrating a virtuosity reminiscent of legends like Van Halen, Steve Vai and Dimebag Darrel. Add to that Doug’s powerful vocals and Wil and Andy’s heavy bottom end and you have rock n roll at it’s finest.
