An Interview With Young Hip Hop Artist CaLiCo

CaLiCo is an American  Hip  Hop  artist from the Tampa bay area in  Florida. CaLiCo was railroaded by a failed education system and stumbled into the hands of the law. Through those experiences, he leaped beyond the negative and redefined himself. CaLiCo started rapping at the age of 16, he is driven to provide hope to his peers and the youths of downtrodden neighborhoods with his words and actions. Influenced by his kids, Khalid Muhammad and artists such as Tupac and Nas, CaLiCo tells his story through his lyrical expressions. Embalmed with a positive mindset and inspired by the words of Martin Luther King “Darkness cannot conquer Darkness, only light can do that” transcends the vibes of his music. As CaLiCo’s musical journey continues to unfold he is bound to achieve great success.

Q:When you decide it’s time to make a new record, is that more exciting or stressful?

Ans: Exciting never Stressful

Ans: Like Einstein I’ll lock myself away

Ans : If the beat banging, its almost instant

Ans: ONLY real people do real things

ANs: All da way Up

Q: You write all of your own music; where do you draw inspiration from when you write songs and what’s your favorite part about the proccess?

ANS: My children, and my affinity to succeed

ANS: 16

Ans: Outkast, Trick Daddy etc

Q: If you could perform with anyone, in the future, who would it have to be?

Ans: Trey Songz, we’ll have the women going crazy.

Q:Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to sing as a career or just advice about careers in general?

Ans : Man makes the money, not the other way around.
