EXOTIK ROBOTZ RELEASE “TEARS IN THE RAIN” MUSIC VIDEO

Location New York, NY — Synthpop electronic group, Exotik Robotz, are duly following up their album release in September 2017 with the video of one of the most played songs on the album, Tears In The Rain. The New York based electro-pop trio released their debut album, SUPERNOVAE, to roaring success last year and are not looking to apply the brakes just yet.

When quizzed about the visuals for Tears In The Rain, the power trio alighted that the music video is inspired by the rainy dystopian future of the original Blade Runner film, the styling references the chic silhouettes & textures of fashion photographer Irving Penn, & the concept channels the vibe of  Bryan Ferry music videos from the 80’s.

A host of talents collaborated to bring this vision together. Some of the illustrious names associated with the video for Tears In The Rain include Kaye Tuckerman as director, Chris VongSawat as DoP, Rudy Reed as stylist, makeup & hair by Felicia Nelson, and editing by Ben McHugh.

Tears In The Rain is a song the A&R Factory refer to as “a hauntingly high vibe hit of synth pop”. This second music video following the success of their first release, Surrender; is a slight departure in style for this dynamic trio. Tears In The Rain is an epic power ballad duet, which expands, ebbes & flows in intricate harmonies gliding over electric guitars & a classic piano melody.

The video for Tears In The Rain is available on all major media outlets including YouTube, Vevo, Tidal and iTunes.
